It is in Janankshi Layout, RR Nagar 5th Stage, further west on the same metro line, and it is open six days a week.

By metro from Vijayanagar

This is the easiest route. Vijayanagar has three Purple Line stations close together: Balagangadharanatha Swamiji station at Hosahalli, Vijayanagar station on Chord Road, and Attiguppe. All three are on the line that runs west to Kengeri.

Stay on the train going west past Mysuru Road and get off at Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Jnanabharathi or Pattanagere. From any of these, an auto or cab brings you south to Janankshi Layout.

By road, people usually take Mysore Road west and turn towards RR Nagar. On weekday evenings the metro is often the more predictable choice.

Property in an older locality

Vijayanagar was built up long before the newer layouts on the city’s edge. The eastern part, once called RPC Layout, is now Hampinagar, also known as Vijayanagar 2nd Stage. In older, built-up areas like this, a house has often been with one family for a long time, and many have a rented portion or a shop on the ground floor.
